No. It provides an educational cash-flow projection based only on the numbers and assumptions you enter.
Does it include assisted living or nursing care?
No. It is limited to the years you expect to remain in independent living. It does not estimate assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, or health care expenses.
Why does the calculator use a start year instead of age?
Age is not required for the current math. The projection is based on a start year and a number of independent-living years.
Why is pension fixed?
Many pensions do not include a cost-of-living increase. If yours does, use the optional pension COLA setting.
